Street Corner Entertainment recording artist Frankie Pizarro
Frankie Pizarro served as a firefighter for the Fire Department of New York for over 21 years. He and his comrades were amongst the first responders to 9/11 who selflessly assisted with search, rescue, and recovery. It was important to Frank to stand guard each year for the 9/11 Anniversary “roll call of names” in honor of all who left us that fateful day. Frankie sang for various FDNY ceremonial events and charitable engagements. He has graciously sung the National Anthem for the New York Mets, Rangers, and Yankees. A major highlight and honor was being requested by the Yankees Organization and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to sing at the 2010 World Series Celebration for The New York Yankees. Frank was also blessed to be the lead singer with the legendary recording group The Platters for several years. He has also performed with greats such as James Ingram, Barbra Streisand, The Temptations, The Four Tops and Freda Payne, just to name a few.
